Troubadours

I watched a wonderful American Masters program on PBS last night(recorded on DVR).  It was all about the singer/songwriters of the 60's-70's:  James Taylor and Carol King mostly but many others including Kris Kristofferson, JD Souther, Jackson Browne, Glen Frey (and the Eagles), Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt and more--so many of my personal favorites! They all were hanging at this place called the Troubadour in LA--how cool would that have been!!!  I'm pretty sure I wore out my Tapestry album way back in the '70's(and yes, I still have it!) I also have it on a CD. James Taylor and Carol King have a new CD out recorded live during the 50th anniversary celebration of the Troubadour last year. You can watch the program on PBS here:
