Foxglove

Here's a card I made this week for Judy K. I used a new (to me) Lockhart stamp, colored in with Prismacolor pencils and added some dots of pink in the center of the flowers with a Gelly Roll Glaze pen!

Flower Cards!

Here's a few cards I've made recently for birthdays and anniversaries. The top right card I made using a Memory Box stamp called Poppy Collage. I used Lyra watercolor crayons to color on the rubber of the stamp and then spritzed with water and stamped. This is another bookmark card similar to one posted earlier in the blog. Still loving the Hero Art stamps! The bottom 2 cards use the HA stamp set called Wildflower Garden. On the blue/green one I did a resist by stamping with Ranger Watermark Resist ink on glossy card stock, let it dry, and then blended distress ink colors over that. The bottom card was for my brother and SIL's 25th anniversary! As always you can click on the image to see it larger! I just learned how to make my own clipping masks so I can group photos together:) Yippee!

Ink or Dye Monday!

Here's Betsy's beautiful bookmark card and then Sandi's ATC: my ATC (theme Day of the Dead--Los Dias) and card for our swap (flower card with bookmark). Betsy's card has 2 cut out slots that the bookmark slides into! Lots of creativity in both swaps this month! I wish I had taken pictures of all the different ways bookmarks were included in the cards! So interesting!
I used a quote that I love on the inside of my bookmark card:
A well-composed book is a magic carpet on which we are wafted to a world that we cannot enter in any other way. -Caroline Gordon
